Got up this morning to take the written at Skymates at GKY.
LaserGrade computer Testing.
The routine is familiar. I've taken enough certification tests in my job as a network admin to know the drill.
They give me a booklet, photocopy my id, give me a pencil and some scratch paper and log me in.
The written is pretty much what I expected. Most was very familiar. A few questions seemed a bit out of left field for some reason. I got TWO questions on ADF. ADF is a weak spot of mine. None of our planes at my flight school have one that works worth a darn. A few more VOR than I expected to see. An easy location of yourself via two VOR's. Was kind of neat that I'd actually done it in the plane once. All in all, a fair test. I felt reasonably prepared.
Score at the end. PASS with a 95
one more check box marked on the path.

Date: 2006-09-24 01:33 pm (UTC)the closer I get to the checkride, the more nervous I get. Will I remember it all for the oral, will I have a good day flying for the practical, will I ever get past the last little bit left to go...
sure is fun though ;)
