Its been a busy Sunday for me. I started off this morning working on fusing some doll eyes in the kiln for ceal. My first attempts and they came out "OK" but need work. The process takes 3 separate kiln firings to make them. So a bit of time is involved. There's a 2nd set of attempts in the kiln now. Hopefully these will be much better.

I also just got done playing at the torch tonight. I haven't knocked the dust off of it in a while. Was good to get back to it. Even if the task was a little beyond me currently. I again, worked on doll eyes. I think I've got the basic steps down for them now. Now I just need to practice and refine and work smaller. It'll come together I'm sure. Probably faster than I think even. I did 3 eyes (each one growing in size)(not "quite" intentional) but I think I'm starting to get the hang of them. Knocked off a bit ago as I was getting tired and a bit shaky. It's getting late for me and I'm about to turn into a pumpkin.

ceal has posted pics of the first kiln fired attempts at doll eyes I did this morning. The others probably won't be posted to the net until tomorrow sometime...

All in all, a good day I think. Even if I am worn out right now... It's a good tired though I think
