just playing around today

I've been playing around LJ a bit the last couple of days. I've recently added a fair number of photography forums to my friends list and today I even posted up some quick fun photos to jamcam. It's a community dedicated to using sub 1 megapixel digital cameras for fun/artistic shots.

I'm such a geek.... I saw the community and thought.. "Wait! I think I have an old Kodak DC20 digital somewhere" down this path lies madness... once I found the camera, then I had to find the serial cable for it.. once I found the cable for it, I had to find a 3 volt lithium battery for it..... then once I goofed around with it, I had to search for and load the old twain drivers on my win98 box... this camera was new in 1996.... that makes it 7 years old now... nothing ever really goes away on the net. /grin

found a couple of really old photos I took probably 4 years or so ago still in the memory on it.. that was really fun.

LJ... it's dangerious... too many things to do and play with.... Perfect for one with a wildly swinging attention span
