I use to be heavily into BASIC Stamps, these little Arduino's look like a lot of fun to play with. (chuckle)

Ha - checkin' you out since you commented on me.

They ARE fun - my husband has gotten into the open hardware scene, and he's been playing with the arduino stuff for a year? hm - maybe two.

He's making a dog talker for me - so I can train my dogs to push a pedal that announces WHAT he wants.
"outside"
"play with me"
"I need a drink"
etc

He has plans anyway - but It's been sidelined due to life events. Hopes to get back to it this spring.
