Dec. 19th, 2007 01:58 pmTaking your dad flying to Sulphur Springs for breakfast, finding the ground fog lifting off the farmland, forming gossamer threads, peaks and valleys, vaguely mirroring the trees, the houses, the barns below, shining in the 9 am light
Heading to Lake Fork with your dad after that breakfast, talking about the old family dairy that he sold when you were 5 years old that is now on the edge of the lake. Finding it with him, circling it from the air, talking about how he never expected the old hay barn to still be standing 35 or more years later. (and marking it as a quick waypoint to find again later) He said he never expected to see the place again, much less from the air...
It was a neat morning today...
