took the plunge
Aug. 28th, 2007 10:50 amAfter a lot of trepidation I finally took the plunge and started working on my tailwheel endorsement....
I did my first .8 in a Citabria 7gcbc last sunday. My first time in a tandem, my first time with a stick, and my first time to ever really need to use my feet.
A lot roomier than I expected. I'm having to learn what those things at the end of my feet are and to stay OFF the rudders. Short, small corrections are the name of the game. A stick in my right, throttle in my left, it feels natural... I think I'm going to be ruined for flying cessna's now...
I'm in love......
she's a vixen with fabric wings
don't tell my wife... ;)
