Center... - Lesson 29
Aug. 13th, 2006 08:18 pmToday's lesson on tap was to plan and fly a short cross country to KSEP, Clark Municipal in Stephenville. I wanted to really plan this one right. I'd done some work on it the night before, emailed David to see if he wanted to go to lunch and look over/help me fill in the gaps in the flight planning. He agreed and we'd meet today at 11 at the airport.
I had been on the schedule for a quick solo flight at 10 this morning. Arrived at the airport, the flight school was locked. The book wasn't out for me to pick up. I hung out a bit, thinking that someone would show in 5 or 10 minutes. No go. Ah well, scratch the solo flight this morning. David arrived about 10:30. I found out later that the city desk has a key to the flight school. I could have probably talked them into unlocking the door for me if I'd thought about it.
( things learned, good flight )
