Safe travels Don...
Sep. 26th, 2005 03:07 pmAs reported here , Don Adams, perhaps best known as Maxwell Smart from the spy spoof series "Get Smart" of the 1960's has passed away at the age of 82.
I remember "Get Smart" with a lot of fondness. As a child I spent many an after school hour watching re-runs of it. It came on after "Gilligans Island" in the market I lived. Sure, it was a silly show, but there are a lot of memories there. Gadgets galore, Agent 99, and a boss that always put up with it, what more could you ask for.
Gilligans Island
Get Smart
That Girl
Odd lineup, but it worked in the early 70's.
Goodby Don, you will be missed. You brought a lot of laughter and joy to the world.
Say hello to the Chief will you?
