I'm tired of being like much of the world.
Life is actually pretty good.
You have two choices when you first wake up in the morning. You can either wake up and be grumpy and groaning about haveing to go to work, or haveing this or that wrong or you have that you have to do something you don't want to, or worry about sickness or money... or, you can wake up and be happy. You can reflect on how wonderful that person next to you in bed is. You can reflect on how lucky you were to find them and how happy the two of you can be, and are together. If you are single, you can reflect on your involvment in the community, you can thinking about the things you are learning, the things you have still to learn. You can find satisifaction in the purr of your cat. The beauty of a flower, the gold of a sunrise on a crystal cold morning in the winter.
You know, it doesn't really matter what work dishes out to you. It's just a job. If life is throwing you challenges, well, so be it. You just follow your conscious, follow your heart, try to be true to yourself and others and you'll make it through it.
As for worrying about things... Well, just try not to. Worrying doesn't really accomplish anything. It just drives up your bloodpressure. It will drive you into depression and you lose the will, the ability to see the good things in your life that can and should make you happy.
So, try this... In the morning, before you get up to start the daily schedule, just lay there for a few moments and reflect on the good things. Decide to be happy. You have a lot going for you. Oh yes, you might smile a bit more during the day. It will have a positive impact on those around you. :)
