(no subject)

Well, I ment to post this yesterday but the net was being difficult....

Yesterday I worked on hanging balls (ornaments) again... I attempted 9, 8 came out. I believe that I may have cracked the code on this item. Still, there is a lot of room for improvement. And I can still try to work larger ones, but overall, I'm very happy with what I've been able to do on this vacation and working at the furnace.

No telling what today will bring from the furnace. I'll just have to play some.

Today I went up to a small gallery in town and placed some of my glass on consignment. Then back at the furnace I made 3 purple glass ornaments and two oil lamps... Then it was starting to get late so I opted to just refill the furnace and come in for the night.

It's been a really nice time this week. I am enjoying the time off of work and school and time to play a bit. Although I do feel a little strange not haveing a project or paper due that I should be working on. Ah well, college will start soon enough again.

Tomorrow there won't be much if any glass done, it'll be Christmas Eve and there will be trips to take, and visits to make.
